The Poetry Party
I started this in
school, back in the late 60s, early 70s.
The idea is that everyone sends in verses.
Jan 2003 - I had to
re-engineer the first verse from memory when creating this page, but I have now
found the yellowing, foxed, hand-typed original, at right - click to enlarge. By
gum that'll be worth a fortune in years to come.

It was a multi-beered,
multi-tiered,
sometimes feared,
engagingly weird,
loudly heared,
onomatopoeiad,
limitless and ever-growing
Party.
Those not invited included
Tory peers,
ancient seers,
all keg beers,
buccaneers,
engineers
with pruning shears,
Billy Sheers,
Britney Speers
and
Wackford Squeers
those who did come
were,

I'm not sure what the reference number is,
but I
think it must be page.verse in the typed original (no PCs and word
processors then, in Wales at least). I will leave the old ones in and use 2contributor.item
for new ones.
The Notes page contains the
notes, list of authors and updates plus other admin bits.
The index page is just
what it says, and probably no more accurate than the other index pages on this
site.
Background is similarly
self-explanatory.
