France 1 centime stamps

Up - GB 1d and £1 - USA 1c and $1 - France 1c and 1F - Germany 1pf and 1M - New Zealand 1d and £1 - Egypt - bottom

As noted in the parent page, the plan of showing all the French 1c and 1f stamps as a concise and representative sample of the whole does not work,  The lottery of postal rates, inflation and revaluation has meant that 1 centime has often been too low in value to register and 1 franc has been the actual postal rate too often for the number of stamps to be manageable. I abandoned the plan when I encountered the rather tedious  annual 1f French Art series of the '60s and early '70s and thereafter 1f seems to have been the standard postal rate and so every other stamp was of this value. I will therefore revert to the original plan of definitives only.
