Table 30

Notes:
30.1 Not a #1 (though it was the first under the Republic of Dahomey), but included for its very bizarreness, this Dahomey 1963 Post Due. The image is described as 'Panther attacking African' - I hesitate to contemplate what was going through the designer's mind or those of the PO officials who approved it as symbolic of Post Due. For the sake of completeness, I have also included the striking 1941 Post Due. This has now moved to a separate Republic of Dahomey listing.
30.2 Scott dates Boyaca's first stamp as 1902, Gibbons the same stamp as 1899.
30.3 Marianne Islands - The 1899 issue (Sc1-6) are handstamped Philippines overprints. These were followed in 1900 by German overprints (Sc11-16). 1901 saw the first real stamp with the Kaiser yacht issue.
30.4 Scott lists Rethymno under Crete (numbering sequentially after British Offices) Gibbons under Russian Offices. The sequencing of the 1899 1m green (Sc10, SG-R2) and 1m blue (Sc13, SG-R1) seems arbitrary, but I'll go with Scott as that is significantly cheaper.

Table 31

Notes:
31.1 Scot lists the China Expeditionary Force under India as Sc-M1, Gibbons as a separate entity, but still prefixed.
31.2 Mafeking's stamps are Cape of Good Hope overprints, followed by Bechuanaland overprints. None of them are particularly affordable. Scott numbers them sequentially after CoGH's stamps.
31.3 Scott numbers Turks (1867) and Turks & Caicos separately, Gibbons sequentially.
