expensive handstamp surcharges on French Colonies general issues and so will have to be covered by a 1999 commemorative showing #9 with an inverted overprint, amongst others. The first set of Postage Due labels is also expensive and may have to be represented by the 1927 overprint. Entertainingly, a couple of the more recent French Marianne issues have also been overprinted.

Yet more objectionably expensive overprints, firstly of CoGH stamps and then GB stamps - there are no real BB stamps. The cheapest GB overprint is shown. As noted above, Stellaland became part of BB in 1885. The BB overprints were additionally overprinted with 'Protectorate' in 1888 and, luckily, the earliest issue is inexpensive. BP boasts commemoratives and Post Due labels.
